Forest Fire
Forest fire is the partial or complete burning of forests. Mostly two things cause forest fires.
First of them is natural forest fires. They usually happen in summer when the weather is too hot but it can also happen when lightning strikes to the forests in a rainy day.
Secondly there are fires caused by humans. They happen when people throw cigarette to the ground, when people throw or forget glass or broken glass in the forests.(glass can cause a fire when the weather is sunny), when people go to barbeque and they throw ashes of the barbeque to the ground. All those three things mostly cause unnatural forest fires.
So, to prevent forest fires we should keep forests clean, we should not throw anything to the ground. We should not make fire in the forests, if we have to we need to find a place without grass and we should put stone around the fire and we should always extinguish the fire.
Avalanche
Avalanche is a natural disaster. It happpens in snowy mountains. A big hazardous mass of snow, ice, and rocks falls rapidly down a mountainside. It happpens suddenly. Avalanches mostly happen in Switzerland. some avalanches are massive and have the ability to destroy buildings but other avalanches are small with only little amount of snow and ice. Avalanches are dangerous but the most threatining thing about avalanches is they can cause other natural disasters
Flood
Thanks to raining we can get the water use we need.
There is no doubt that we need raining but sometimes it can be dangerous.
When it rains heavily the water level rises unstoppably. This
overloaded water is called flood disaster.
Flood disaster causes many material and moral damages.
A big amount of water can go inside of people's houses and gardens. It can even
lead to death. To get through this disaster with the least damage we should not
settle in areas with a high risk of flooding, we should have a flood insurance,
we should prepare an emergency bag and we should know how to swim.
Earthquake
Earthquakes are a sudden shaking of the surface of the earth. They are
really dangerous because earthquakes cause huge damage to people's lives and
properties. Also, we can't prevent and know when it will occur. However, it is
possible to protect ourself from earthquake by preparing a go bag. It is good
for you to put biscuits, flashlight, band-aid, water, inside the go bag. In
addition, you should stay away from windows and walls during the earthquake and
shouldn't get on the elevator.
